If your item weighs under 68 kg in weight FedEx can pick up same day across most of the UK, with booking as late as 3 PM from many areas. For larger items including pallets, 24 hours' advance notice is required.
FedEx make 3 delivery attempts for all FedEx international deliveries. For the majority of air and road deliveries FedEx offer a signed for delivery service, however they will also leave goods in a safe place such as a porch or with a neighbour.
For international deliveries outside of Europe you require additional paperwork for customs clearance, which Fastway® will help you with, and the recipient may have to pay import duty and tax. FedEx offers excellent customs clearance services, however they do have quite tight restrictions, for example entering vague descriptions such as ‘samples', instead of specifying the specific product that you are posting, so we recommend you take care when entering the product information on our booking screen.
